I can’t express how excited and honored I was to recently photograph Malia, my good friend and studio mate Crystal’s beautiful new baby girl.  Crystal had the idea to tie in some of Malia’s newborn photos with her maternity photos, taken by the fabulous Jennifer Skog.  In order to recreate one of the scenes from Crystal’s maternity session, we put Malia in a bowl of water with orchids.  I was a little nervous about how Malia would react to the water, but she loved it!!   It was such a privilege to do this newborn session for Crystal.  Here are a few of my favorite shots …
