It was quite an adventure actually getting to shoot Rachel and Frank’s engagement session. We had originally scheduled in March, but as luck would have it, it was freezing cold, and started to rain as soon as we all arrived at the winery where we were going to do the session. So we decide to reschedule for May, when for sure it would be warmer, and not raining. But unbelievably, it rained AGAIN. So again we reschedule, keeping all our fingers crossed that this time, we would get nice weather. Be careful what you wish for!! Not only did we get bright blue skies, but it hit 100 degrees that day! So instead of going to Alum Rock Park as we had planned, Rachel found the perfect spot for a really hot day – the Carmelite Monastery in Santa Clara. It was nice and shady with lots of trees to keep us a little cool. Rachel and Frank were such troopers to brave the heat that day!

I’ve been dying to blog about Traci and Patrick’s wedding for over a month now!  Despite the rainy day, and changing their wedding from outdoors to indoors the day of, their wedding was amazing. We did lucked out with the rain, and were able to run outside for their portraits. Here’s a few of my favorite shots from their day. Enjoy!
