I’ve been dying to blog about Frédérique and Jason’s engagement session that we shot last month.  I LOVE working with creative couples that want to go to unique & out of the ordinary places for their engagement photos.  Imagine my excitement when Frédérique and Jason said they wanted to go to Piedmont Cemetery for their session.  This cemetery is a pretty incredible place – NOT your ordinary cemetary.  We found these amazing ornate gates, columns & the coolest old locks.   I was in photographers heaven!

I cannot wait for their wedding this Halloween.  It’s going to be amazing!

Crystal Lequang & Nicole Ha of Amazae Special Events & Nicole Ha Designs truly outdid themselves this year with their incredibly glamorous event at the Julia Morgan Ballroom.  Each room represented one of the seven continents.  And each room was more  incredible than the last.  I was very honored to be one of the featured photographers that night.

I was assigned the very posh photographer’s lounge & the “going green”  North America room which was made entirely from recycled materials.

Jennifer & Ben were married on a gorgeous Saturday in March.  We couldn’t have asked for better weather ….  it was warm, sunny, & beautiful blue skies.  And with the help of their wonderful family and friends, their day went off without a hitch.

Yes, the cake was that good!

Photographing triplets is so much fun.  They REALLY keep you on your toes and there’s never a dull moment!   Especially with these three cuties …  Now that they are crawling and walking, we had a blast during their session a couple of weeks ago.   It’s amazing to me just how quickly they grew.  It feels like just yesterday when I did their newborn session.

I had a blast photographing Noah for his 6 month portraits. He just LOVED the camera! It was really hard narrowing things down for this post. Here’s a few highlights from the session:

I just love the next two photos. They were taken literally a split second apart. It’s amazing just how quickly babies go from smiles to tears.
