Ananda & Sean were married Friday on Lake Tahoe’s south shore, with the crystal blue waters of the lake as a backdrop for their ceremony. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding. Enjoy!

So here we are in Lake Tahoe, looking out over the north shore. And while taking in this beautiful scenery, I thought, what better time to blog about yesterdays portrait session? LOL! Now I sound like a total workaholic! Yesterday evening, I had the pleasure of taking Kira’s 10 month portraits. What a happy baby girl!! She was loads of fun … full of laughs, and smiles. She really kept me on my toes crawling all around Gamble Gardens.

This yellow balloon was Kira’s favorite toy. She would light up and start laughing every time she saw it … too cute! At one point, I was completely tangled up – camera in one hand, balloon in the other … the things we do for the perfect shot

After months of searching, Crystal of Amazae Special Events & I have finally found our studio! In case you haven’t heard, Crystal and I will be sharing both office and studio space.  Our dream of creating a beautiful space to meet with our clients is finally becoming a reality.  Nestled in the beautiful Rose Garden district of San Jose, we are located on The Alameda, just off the 880 exit.  We will be moving over the next couple of weeks and can’t wait to show off our new space!  Here is a sneak peak of what’s to come …

A couple of weeks ago I was delighted to photograph one of my favorite families. This family is very dear to me, as I have been photographing their boys since they were little babies, back when I was still in Virginia. They now live in Colorado, so imagine my surprise when I got the e-mail saying they would be vacationing in Santa Cruz, and wanted to schedule in their portrait session. I was so thrilled to see them again
